About us
ANIERAC, the Spanish National Association of Edible Oil Bottlers and Refiners, is currently made up of 62 member companies engaged in refining and bottling edible oils in the domestic market.
ANIERAC is a private non- profit association, created to defend the interests of the industrialists dedicated to the process of bottling and refining edible oils and its commercialization into the Spanish domestic market, while promoting greater clarity and transparency in the edible oil market.
In 2018, the members of ANIERAC sold in the market 308 million liters of oliveoil, which amount to more than 75 % of the domestic market, and 353 million liters of refined oils from fruits and seeds, 90 % of the domestic market share.
Given the number of members and the volume of oil they sell to the market, ANIERAC is one of the main interlocutors with the Spanish government, working actively with national authorities and public organizations, specially the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Environment, the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Policy & Equality, and the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy & Tourism.
ANIERAC is an active member of several organizations and associations at national level, related to olive oil and the food industry, the more relevant being:
